The Egyptian Theatre in  Oregon has been regarded as a historical landmark that has gone through many different changes over the decades. While the previous article went into the first few years of operation, it is important to acknowledge the prevalence in the history within this particular theater. One interesting fact that I was able to find while doing my research was that the Egyptian during the  and the post war era had been holding community  centered around bank lottery, where people would win raffles to get groceries and other supplied needs that were not readily available at the time due to an inequality of supply and demand. The Egyptian Theatre became less popularized by the public in the 1960s when it was taken on new  and  were no longer being utilized to the  they used to. However, with that, the Egyptian Theatre did eventually make a comeback as a revival cinema, where it stood as such until 2011, when it was closed due to safety violations, and nearly $4 million worth  invasions that were needed to be done in order for it to be sustainable. However, thankfully, the Egyptian was reopened in 2014 and has been operating as a concert venue and as a revival cinema house ever since. In 2010, the Egyptian Theatre was also added to the National Register of Historic Places. therefore claiming its title of supportance within not only Coos Bay Oregon as a historical landmark, but also in the country, as one of the last Egyptian style theaters to be claiming  title of  not only Coos Bay Oregon as a historical landmark, but also in the country as one of the last Egyptian style  to still be an operation in the United States.
